  • Memorial Day W/E - Sunday a big night?

    Hi all

I've been planning a smallish/older Bachelor Party (5 x 30+ blokes) for Sunday 29th May. I've got some useful advice from other posters and the tentative plan was for drinks, a top-end steak dinner then onto Bank (or even Voodoo Lounge)

However.... I've just realised that this particular Sunday is on Memorial Day Weekend, which might scupper the plans a bit. There's been a couple of posts saying that some of the top clubs (eg: Bank) won't even take guest lists on this weekend - which I guess would make getting 5 blokes in even harder than normal. My question is (as someone not from the States) - is the Sunday night likely to be absolutely jammed? Pretty sure the Saturday will be massive - not an issue as we're not in till Sunday - but should we expect Saturday sized crowds on the Sunday night too...?

May have to rethink the plan if so..

    Cheers

    I'm curious too!

I believe Deadmau5 is at XS and Armin van Buuren at Marquee that Sun night (and Marquee isn't even open Sun usually!) so I would go with yes for at least those 2 but everywhere else...?

Yes, Sunday is big, too. Contact hosts in advance and be prepared to drop some cash.

Sunday of MDW is huge in Vegas and pretty much any other party city.

Personally, I'm seeing Aoki on Sunday, May 29th at the Mixx in Atlantic City, then flying out to Vegas the following weekend where he'll be at XS on Sunday night. Crazy talk.

Pick a club that doesn't have a BIG name Dj, like a tier 2 club, and make sure you get bottle service and you'll be good!
Vegas is everything that’s right with America. You can do whatever you want, 24 hours a day. They’ve effectively legalized everything there.

I'm shocked at how big Deadmau5 is...I'm not much into EDM, but he played for free during the Olympics. People went crazy for him and waited HOURS just to get in.
