It's not played at any of the major clubs. Perhaps at small venues off strip?

On a typical weekend it would be hard to catch any place playing dubstep. However on EDC weekend, Skrillex will be doing a pool and a nightclub show at the Rio.

mean skrillex is playing do you know when ? am only in vegas from th 27th til the 3rd, its wierd i guess that in america dubstep i'm guessin isnt that big, but here all the major clubs play it and the big club events are usually headlined by dubstep djs, i'm not a huge fan, but if im in the mood for not having to dance with any rhythm then just wanted to know where to go lol

Dub Step seems to be at least somewhat popular in other places like California, Denver, and Texas, even South Florida. Why not in Las Vegas?

I think it's still a niche sub-genre wherever I've gone. If only UK garage music were still around...

It's just not the sort of music that's typically played in clubs. Dubstep is huge in the UK, but you'd only get one or two dubstep influenced songs played over the course of a night in a club, and even then it'll be very mainstream songs that are currently in the charts. If you want to listen to dubstep over here you'd have to seek out a club that is specifically doing a dubstep night.

Are all the mates you're going with into Dubstep too? Might as well just see the real vegas imo. I love Dnb but I'm going to Vegas on a ten man trip and none of the others are into it so will just stick to the other spots with them I think.

If there is somewhere to hear Dnb in Vegas, let me know anyway. Will be there July 1-7

thats cool, cause im heading to surrender on the wednesday and tryst is on my list for thursday so shall come check it out.
yeah i would say it is a sub genre maybe of drum and bass but its becoming more commercialized and therefore will probably gain more popularity i mean britney even has some what used a bit of dubstep in her new music, i'm going with my gf shes pretty crusiy with whatever so will drop into rio as well and if i find anythng will tell all, it would seem to me that it will be quite commercial but thats algood cause not a huge fan of music with no words and of course better then nothing, if i hear a bit of flux pavillion, nero, skrillex or anything would be happy
