hitting on the hostess

Just curious is there any point hitting on the drink hostesses serving the tables? Or does it depend on how the big tip is

ChasKrew from the forums can pull it off on a regular basis. He doesn't even get tables or tips for that matter.

I've hit on many a cocktail waitresses and I tip really well (25-50% because my bottle service is usually comped) and I've yet to get one to go home with me.
