Hi everyone,

Brand new to this forum so hello to everyone, what a great forum.

Myself and my wife(Me 29,her 32) are off to Vegas tomorrow for 6 full nights, along way to come from the UK but hopefully it will be well worth it.

Got a few questions if thats ok?

We are staying at Ballys cause got a really good deal off expedia.
Well like having a few beers, any recommendations on where to go? Are drinks expensive?

Any recommendations on where to grab some food from? Dont want to pay a fortune though!

Also we might take in a strip club, what is best place to go for a couple? Can you touch the dancers when u get a private dance?

Hi,
If ur looking to save a buck on drinks the #1 rule is to pre-pound(drink at ur room), obviously this involves buying alcohol at cheap prices at a supermarket. Drinks at Bars & especially CLUBS can be fairly expensive when compared to the rest of the world. However there are several $1 specials for beer in several lil bars inside some of the casino's. Im not 100% sure but i believe a small casino across from Bally's has $1 New Castle 12oz bottles. Here is the link of some other drink specials http://www.vegas.com/restaurant/specials.html#drinks Other than that I think you can still find Beer specials anywhere from $3-$5 but at Clubs expect to pay twice as much or more in some cases.
As far as food advice goes, i have found its easier to go to Yelp.com, click on Vegas, refine ur search with price, type of food ur looking for and go off ratings, look at some of the pictured food & read some reviews to see if it falls under food you like. And if all else fails there are plenty of popular large chains for any price range like Mcdonalds, Denny's, IHOP, Outback steakhouse, etc.
Strip clubs you can research on the Main Jackcolton page and find one that falls under what you're looking for. I think the rule is no touching but Keep the Tips coming and they normally dont mind too much-- as a matter of fact, it might score points that you bring ur girl with you. I once took my GF and the stripper actually wanted to come back to our room-- unfortunetely this one had a really bad skin and i had to decline.
Try to get on some Guestlists and look around for free club passes. Make sure to go to one of the Pool parties-- I think they can be fun for couples.

Any decent places for a steak near Ballys aswell?

What about any late night places to eat near ballys after a few beers!

Welcome mate, I'm flying out on Thursday..it's looks like half the UK is going to be there this weekend!

In answer to your question 'are drinks expensive in vegas?' - then generally - yes. In a main club you'll be paying about $15 for a drink, but the bars are cheaper and don't forget you get free drinks when you gamble!

I'd reccommend that you do the Palms wristbands one night, easy access to all 4 clubs / bars in the Palms (no waiting in line), and you can go to places like Ghostbar that has an awesome view of the strip. I think they also have an option where you can have a free bar for a couple of hours, so you can go and smash that.

Unfortunately, my experience with taking a significant other to a strip club is limited. I think private dances can get pretty touchy-feely, but bare in mind that all strip clubs where alcohol is served can't have fully nude dances. Obviously I got all this information from a 'friend'.
