Hi everybody. This is I think just my third post, but I just want to introduce myself because this site rocks and has given me lots of tremendous info.

I'm mexican but I live in LA, and 5 friends and I are going from july 2nd to 5th, and, being the one that lives here, I was kind of the one organizing everything, deciding which nightclubs to hit and making reservations. This is going to be our first time in Vegas, so really, a big thanks to all you guys because this has really been helpful!!!

Anyway, we're hitting Ditch Friday on the 3rd, followed by a table reservation at XS on the 4th, which I expect to be crazy, so I'm also sharing a little of the paranoia that someone just started a thread on.

So what I'm looking right now, is where to spend thursday and friday night... I'm looking for a bar, not a nightclub, with a good atmosphere, where we can have a blast. Any recomendations???

So, congratulations to Jack Colton, because it seems like this site is growing and the members are cool people willing to share stories, good and bad, and very willing to give good advice.

I've heard nine fine irishmen at nyny is a good bar, there's also blondies at PH's shops which gas beer pong too! im sure you can probly hit carnival court for some crazy fun too. that's all i can think of right now but im sure more members will chime in

Your boys first time in vegas... twenty dollar lap dances from some amazing girls... imo you will get the "damn you are the man!" looks from your friends, when the free limo picks you guys up and brings you to the back door for free entrance...

I've heard nine fine irishmen at nyny is a good bar, there's also blondies at PH's shops which gas beer pong too! im sure you can probly hit carnival court for some crazy fun too. that's all i can think of right now but im sure more members will chime in

Make sure if you do Nine Fine Irishmen, you get there early. We tried numerous times to get in there and they were at full capacity.

Brazeneye, by early, you mean around 7, 8?? Because I'm sure the bars are packed long before than the clubs...

Dnix loves carnival court bar next to harrahs, it's fun, but a bar , ample seating a couple dj's , good music, performing bartenders and close to a couple fun spots inside planet Hollywood and o'sheas

Nine Fine Irishmen is a great bar....you might also want to check out the dueling piano bar in NYNY. I've been to many including Chicago, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, and this place definitely tops the list.

7-8 should be good. We strolled in around 9-10. People go there, eat dinner and then end up sticking around for the rest of the night.

Carnival Court has...

a cover charge in the evening (around 5.00-7.00) and the crowd is generally over 30, but it's fun and they have cheap minimums on blackjack there. Plus they have one of the Delpech brothers and Robyn the bartender who was featured on the Food Network's bartender battle competition.

I always have fun at Carnival court and NYNY...for the piano bar. I've never been to Nine Fine b/c as brazen said, every time it's been absolutely packed-this was between 7-10.

I always thought NYNY had a fun young vibe, especially if you just want to be chill and laid back. Have fun!

I have to agree with cisco. Carnival court is perfect for just gettign drunk. watching bands and dj and getting drunk. It has to be said twice.
