Anyone recommend MGM Grand for a group this summer? Have stayed at Harrahs and Rio but looking to try somewhere new on the strip.

Depending on who your going with. Ph is usualy about the same price as MGM and way more central. MGM gets super busy on the weekends with lots of little kids running around. you wont see that at Ph. I say go Ph or City Center.

Have always stayed at MGM but tried PH this time around, PH is in a very convenient location and the room was nice. You're in walking distance from a lot of the action. MGM isn't bad though I've stayed in both, but would go with PH if you're planning on going out a lot.

I'd go with MGM if you don't mind being all the way at the South End of the strip. Great pool scene, great restaurants, and the beds are comfortable. Rooms could use updating, but oh well - the price is right.

I've stayed at plenty hotels in Vegas and MGM is still one of my favorites! Great casino, pool, and I just love the energy of the place. It's HUGE so prepare to do some walking. The rooms are really nice and spacious and they currently have a special on their website under special offers for great prices on suites, so you may wanna check that out as well. I think it's perfect for a group. Have fun!

What kind of budget are you going for? Keep in mind MGM has a resort fee while the caesars properties don't. I'd personally go with PH myself, or Flamingo Go rooms if you like a nicer pool.
