Monte Carlo Hotel 3 Bedroom Issue

Could not think how to title this, basically we committed to having 3 deluxe rooms at Monte Carlo (Last time we was there we hardly ever went to the hotel rooms) we have since decided that getting a suite would suit us more than this, do you think its worth tweaking the booking now or wait and try to negotiate something once we arrive at the hotel either via the "Sandwich Trick" or by offering to pay for a better room once we are there? Any input is appreciated.

Just call them up and tell them what you want.

With 3 rooms booked, it will be pretty difficult to "20-dollar-trick" your way into a suite upon check-in. A group your size will require much more coordination.

I'd second Drew's point and say just call them - explain your situation and see what they can offer.

From what I hear the 20 dollar trick at monte carlo is hit or miss, but they are very accomdating, and great customer service. Just ask for what you want, and you can probably get a spa suite with an ajoining room or something like that.

My last trip I stayed in the spa suite at the monte carlo, It was a good size suite. But at check in every teller/cashier person had a supervisor or manager behind them. It seemed like as everyone was getting trained so the sandwhich trick might b harder to do.

Yeah we have booked through Virgin holidays as they were awesome last time out, so we are going to speak with them first about amending the booking by trying to get to change the room types on our booking if its possible.
