  • Getting Bottle Service...

On a Monday night which is the better club,

    XS or Marquee?

Also, is it possible to pay for the table with straight cash, or do I need a credit card for them to hold?

i think all table reservations need a credit card to hold the booking and incase u dont turn up they'll charge it. would be interested no if this isnt always the case though?

I've got table reservations for this Thursday at Tao and Saturday XS - haven't had to provide any credit card details.

We were planning to pay in cash I think, but the thought of having 12 guys trying to split a bill and sort out all their money at 3am after 5 bottles of grey goose is giving me a headache already.

So maybe either you put something like $300 each into a kitty envelope at the start of the night and then just use money out of that to pay the bill, or get one of your kind mates to put platinum down, American Psycho style.

I booked XS last year with Ryan Perrings and no Credit Card details were required.

We dealt with cash every time we got bottles actually.

Same here, but about a month ago. He just asked when I got there whether I'd be paying cash or credit. I've always just collected cash or checks from everyone before and done the bill on one card. As previously mentioned, it avoids the shit show of trying to count $$$ at 4AM after pounding bottles of liquor all night haha.

In a scenario where you're paying cash, are you still expected to fork over a credit card when you get to your table as collateral, so that they can put a hold on it until you pay cash at the end?

The only place where I had to give cc info before hand was at Rain at the Palms. No where else have I ever encountered this. Typically, when you show to the club and meet your host they will ask for the i.d. and cc of the person who booked the table or whoever else wants to hand it over. This will be passed on to the waitress. Before ordering you can advise her that you are paying cash. I find it easiest for her to return with the total and pay her the cash then rather than attmepting to hold on to thousands of dollars through the night. Usually you can just leave you cc still with her just in case you decide to order anything else, I always inform her not to let anything be ordered unless the actual cc holder confirms so your drunken friends don't screw you and collect your cc back at the end of the night and pay out anything else. I believe though once you paid for your bottles at the beginning with cash you can simply ask for your cc back.

To answer the first question, lol. I'd say get bottles at XS. I've read you don't really need bottles at Marquee.

That's prob because it's MDW. The host wants to guarantee you're going to show up, or that table could go empty for the night. And on MDM, were people pay a premium they don't want that.

Everytime I've got bottles I always pay cash. I get the money before hand from who ever is pitching in. Once we order our bottles at the club we pay for the bottles right away. They never collect my cc just my license since I am paying cash. Paying it right wen we get there is the best for me this way I don't have to carry too much money on my pocket. A huge tip for everyone make sure u ALWAYS get the money from ur friend before u guys are already wasted. That has never been an issue for my group but I heard it can get ugly sometimes...

Never had to give CC information. SInce I go to Vegas for MDW with the same group every year it's pretty much routine, everyone meets up at my room for drinks before we hit the club(my room is never cramped full of people) and I collect everyone's money so that when we get to the club, and get seated I can pay right away. Never a hassle and it makes the night much smoother!

I remember the VERY first time I got bottle service with the group, we did the mistake of collecting the money at the club. BIG MISTAKE, we had like two cheapasses who only had 20 bucks on them, I ended up having to cover for them. Haven't seen them since that trip, thank GOd!!!
Vegas is everything that’s right with America. You can do whatever you want, 24 hours a day. They’ve effectively legalized everything there.
