  • nice dinner spot?

badass site, stumbled upon a link while browsing the GQ forums and i definitely like what i see. first post, so quick intro- im 22 from Texas, been to vegas about 50 times (family goes religiously) but only 5 since ive been of age and heading back in July to celebrate my girlfriend's 21st birthday.

This will be the first time to Vegas with my girl so i need some insight on a few sexy places for dinner. i have been thinking about taking her to the Eiffel Tower restaurant so she can see the Bellagio's water show at night from up there and a friend of mine also told me there is a place down at the Stratosphere with an amazing view, but i havent looked into that one. never been to either so i have no clue.

as far as details, looking to go anywhere in/on the strip area with a fly atmosphere and good food, but im no Vegas big shot although i have no problem spending good money for a memorable experience and good service. im up for anything, so fill me in-

    appreciate yall's input and suggestions

I've had dinner at Eiffel Tower and it was honestly really awesome with an amazing view... but it is kinda pricey. I had a big scallop as an appetizer and some really nice steak along with some sort of spinach plate. My date had a salad that was pretty good with some steak as well, she had a glass of wine and I had a bud light and I paid a total of $240 including tip. We went on a Sunday afternoon/night around 7 and the view was awesome!!! We were sat on the left side by the glass with a pretty good view of the fountains along with a really good view of the Paris globe or whatever it is. I have some pics up on my facebook if you wanna check em out. The service was also really good, the guy knew his shit too about wine and was very helpful with the menu and everything else. I would recommend it for a special occasion, I went just because I wanted to check it out and treat myself.

top of the world at stratosphere is awesome...the view is tremendous and theres not a bad seat in the house caue the floor spins to give you 360' views.....it moves extremely slow so u dont notice it

N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms is a great dinner spot. It's not exactly a romantic spot like Paris/Stratosphere mentioned above, but the food is top notch and its a great party vibe. I have taken dates there in the past and we always have a great time. And you can usually get your name on the guest list for Moon/Rain/Ghostbar/Playboy after dinner if you take care of your server and ask nicely.

Yeah, definitely seconding N9NE, also Fix at Bellagio. I took my fiance to Fix when I was there last 4th of July and we had a really great time, just enough of a party vibe to make things fun but still quiet enough to talk.

For "WOW effect" you could definitely look into MIX in Mandalay Bay, the view from the bathroom is the best view in all of Vegas and the food is pretty decent, the entire place is designed to just make you feel like you're somewhere amazing.

I guess the question is what are you looking for:

              Price range?
View or food experience more important?
              Food Type?

              N9NE, Aureole, Mix, or Seablue.

I am a HUGE fan of Stack @ mirage. I found the service to be great, but the food was just amazing. They did a fantastic job and made it worth every penny for my dining experience !
