  • Bottle Service Paranoia - XS

Ugh...first post. It's like meeting someone for the first time. Hello my name is tbonz and I'm a Vegas junkie...

I’m doing research for my trip in August. I’m interested in bottle service at XS on a Friday night. I’ve surfed several reviews and a few forums about the club and my research now has me paranoid. I read stories about having a table reservation but when they arrive the host informs them the price of the table’s gone up. Another story has someone making a table reservation but having to pay the host excessive $$ to sit in a “popular” location (I know the term excessive is subjective, but a few hundred dollars for a cool location on top of the bottle service commitment may or may not be the norm…not sure). Finally, I read a story that table reservations may be made in advance, but that night the tables are sold to the highest bidder and you may end up not getting your table.

I’m not a bottle service pro, but did bottle service last year at Body English. I talked to my host a few times before the trip and the night of my reservation I met him at the time he told me to be there, he met me at the door, escorted me through the club to my table, and checked up on me a few times during the night. My host and the staff exceeded my expectations and it was a terrific night!

Do you know if these situations are accurate? I want to visit XS but don’t want to stress out about it. My friends and I have a lot to celebrate and I’d be crushed if we get there and poof! no table.

After reading this forum for several months I feel this is the forum that has the experience and answers about Vegas nightlife. I appreciate any feedback!

Alot of it also has to do with what time of year or what events are going on there. if you are there on a non holiday weekend they you should be fine. make sure that you stay in touch with your host. dont harass but let them know that you are still commited to the table. and make sure they know that they will be taken care of.

        I'm totally feeling your paranoia.
I plan on going to XS in two weeks on a Saturday.
I've contacted Patrick Frank from XS and he confirmed via email that I was all set. My party is 5 guys, 2 bottles min.
I asked if I could get a table inside or on the patio and he responded he won't know til day of. I've also read the exact horror stories and reviews you did and I hope it doesnt happen to me. I'm going June 27...so I think it should be ok since it's non-holiday. Still though, I feel a bit worried for I don't want it to ruin a long awaited trip for me.

I'll definitely post my findings after my trip.
There's always something waiting at the end of the road, if you're not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place..........

As long as you arrive by 10:30 and take care of your host when you arrive, you will have no problems.

You may run into issues if you don't tip your host and/or you arrive late.

On a Saturday night I suggest you get there between 930 and 10.

                +1

Clubs typically experience "bailouts" so staying in touch with your host should take care of it. Be upfront about what you want and he may respond w/the "typical tip" amount for what you are expecting.

                      XS is...

brutal for this. I'm not saying it's easier for other clubs, but I've been there twice this year and each time:

                      - they ask stuff like "how many bottles am I interested in?"-> meaning how much money do I want to throw their way...

                      - this table has been reserved for the manager.

I have no problems tipping, but I have problems with people NOT being straight up with me. If a club wants my money, don't pussyfoot with me!

+1 on keeping contact with the host about your table reservations. A case in point: Tryst has 78 tables (from what I was told). On average they have over 100 reservations.

                      (SHO) 'Nuff said.
