Loud music in the restaurants? Guess I won't be eating at the Cosmo when I'm staying there. Lunch/Dinner should be a social event.
    What I am about.

Hit up STK this past weekend as group of 6 guys. Had A great time, Service was prompt, drinks were stiff, and food was totally off the charts. Nothing like a huge porterhouse to fill the belly before a night of 5-6 bottles. Highly recommend anyone to go check it out.
Yes, there is a DJ, yes it is loud, but I had no problem chatting with my buddies at all. it's a cool vibe and fun atmosphere, but not too loud to be obnoxious IMO.
p.s. We all enjoyed the non stop line of woman going to Marquee, must have been easily 1500-2000 girls walking past when we came/left. My boys enjoyed the view as much as their dinner.

Maybe I went on a bad night, but the steak at STK was bad news. I always go to steakhouses and it was not good. The rest of the meal was delicious, but not the filet. Holstein's was good and had a creative menu for lunch, the pizza was great for a late night craving, and Wicked Spoon was good for a buffet. We will do Comme Ca when we stay at Cosmo next time as STK was the low point of our last trip.

You should of asked to send it back for another. I ordered a medium rare filet and it came out medium-well. Figured it wasn't that big of a deal, so I was going to just eat it. After a couple of bites into it, the waiter asked how everything was, told him about it and right away the waiter took it back and had one out in 15 minutes.

On top of that free deserts for the inconvenience. Only thing is that the music is a bit too loud, other than that great place.

I too thought STK was pretty loud. The food was OK but nothing to rave about by any means. The Blue Ribbon sushi joint at Cosmo is DISGUSTINGLY over priced and sub par for the price.
