I haven't been to Marquee but FYI, when you click on the link to buy tickets, it says "Even guy/girl ratio required or subject to door discretion."
good catch. That pretty much means that on a busy night, and/or if you show up late you'll probably be waiting in line a while unless you have a lot of attractive girls in your group.

haha so basically this is useless to me
Meh. I wouldn't worry too much about the "even guy/girl ratio req'd or subject to door discretion" line.
Three of my buddies - all guys - had presale tickets in March on a Saturday for Kaskade (so, basically a ridiculously busy night); and they got in within 20 minutes. Should be noted that they went relatively early - around 9/9:30. The later you go, the more risk you assume obviously.
Anyway, bouncers gave them zero issues when it came to not having an even guy/girl ratio. They didn't even mention it.
I'm not saying it's 100 percent guaranteed, but I've also read a couple other accounts of guys getting presale tickets on yelp and getting in with no trouble. Shouldn't be an issue...
