10 lads... August 24th

10 british lads aged 30-40 are heading down to Vegas this summer for a football tournament, and to basically go mental.

Its an anything go's kind of trip and i'm hoping this forum can help us get some good advice!!!

Most of us have been before, but not on this scale...

I dont even know where to start to be honest!

Where are you staying? I'm going out there on the bank holiday weekend at the end of August.

We are staying at planet hollywood... we have to stay at one of 4 hotels as part of the tournament package... Caesars, Paris, Planet Hollywood or Harrahs. We voted on PH.

We will be there from the 24th to the 29th

Planet Hollywood is definitely the best value out of the bunch. If money was no option out of the places, I would have suggested the Emperor Suite in the forum tower at Caesars Palace.

No plans as yet apart from drinking and seeing what happens...!!! wouldnt mind a few pointers from people in the know though in regards to clubs and stuff.

Yes mate, I did my research on the hotels and thats what I figured. Plus PH seems to be more the type of hotel for the kind of trip its going to be.

Im pretty sure that we will end up getting a suite at some point... moneys not a problem for some of the lads... unfortunately not me... i'll be on somewhat of a budget, but even so im planning on taking (and spending) quite a few grand. Afterall, getting married next year so trips of this kind may not be so easy to pull off future! Better make the most of it eh...

Haha I actually emailed Thomas Gorman about Wet Republic MDW 2012 prices the other day...

Shakermaker - Go hard or go home, sleep is not needed in Vegas. Go out in the day, walk the strip, stop off and have a gamble and a drink at each of the casinos.

See a show (copperfield or cirque), go to the pool parties, go to the nightclubs.

Ask plenty of questions so you can get informed. As you can already see guys like Mike Tantalo are excellent in hooking people up so don't hesitate to have your bases covered.

I have only imagined what it would be like to go to Las Vegas, but have never gotten to go... =-(( This time is different, I finally get to go...
