I've been using the same host for awhile now. Anything thats going to him personally is included in what I pay him before I come. I guess I just don't get why someone walking me to my seat that isn't my host deserves $100+.. but thats just me... I don't tip the hostess at a restaurant; same situation.

This is why I prefer to deal with the same people each and every time. I've met some hosts that are there one year and gone the next, while I've met some hosts that have been doing this for a long time. <- Now those are the guys/girls I trust. I would definitely hope that if I were to give a tip to the guy/girl who walks me in (if it wasn't the same that booked me) to split her/his tip!Originally posted by Nola View PostI've been using the same host for awhile now. Whether that's the guy you booked with or the guy that walks you in, that will change all the time. If you don't see the guy that you worked with the whole time, I would give the $100 to the guy that walks me in and tell him to make sure my actual host gets taken care of.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

OK I have one major concern, There's the person I book with and the guy that will walk me and my group to our table. I'm assuming it is usually the same guy right? After booking a table with a host I don't want to tip someone outside at the door and then be handed off to some other guy to walk me in. So should I tip the guy that walks us to our table or what? and At what point should I tip him?Vegas is everything that’s right with America. You can do whatever you want, 24 hours a day. They’ve effectively legalized everything there.

Personally, if the guy with the clipboard is the one that you booked the table with, I would thank him. If neither guy is the one that booked your table, I would tip the guy that seats you.
But, I would let the host who booked your table know that you took care of the host who seated you.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

I tell my female friends to tip the host also. I think hosts definitely appreciate it from the women, especially if they're a big group. From guys, it is what it is.
How much to tip, I can't say. Maybe someone else here can reply to that.
Plus, in the end, it's really the discretion of the host if he wants to let you in.FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Gotcha. Will stick to the 75-100 per bottle rule, plus they're probably cutting us a better deal than they'd give to a group of guys + giving a better location.Originally posted by ashroid View PostI tell my female friends to tip the host also. Oh definitely. Having a penis is a curse as far as the nightclub scene is concerned. It only starts to be somewhat better once you have established a relationship with a host. Plus, it takes guys a lot longer to establish that relationship than girls.Originally posted by daisy24 View PostGotcha.
