I've been reading this site for the past couple of months to get information, but this is the first time I've posted.
I'm heading to Vegas for the first time on April 22nd with a buddy of mine and thought I'd see if anyone else is going to be staying at The Palms at the same time. I actually won the trip (flight, transportation, hotel) through a drawing at a place called The Parlor Collection in Bellevue, WA, so my only expenses are food and entertainment. Can't complain about that! haha.
Unfortunately, The Parlor booked me for the standard Deluxe Guestroom, so I figure I have to at least try the "sandwich" trick to get an upgrade to the Superior Guestrooms in the newer tower. I don't think that'll be a problem on Easter weekend though.
Anyone else on these forums going to be at The Palms that weekend?
Also, I was curious if anyone knew what pricing for daybeds/cabanas/etc. is at the pool and if I should be contacting a host for that or just show up and see what we can negotiate. I couldn't find any pricing info on the forums, so any help would be appreciated.
We're planning to go to the clubs at The Palms on Friday night and probably Tao on Saturday. My coworker is good friends with one of the bartenders at Tao I'm hoping she can hook us up in some way with that so we at least don't have to wait in line.
If you're interested in meeting up, splitting costs on table service, have some suggestions on "can't miss" things to do, etc., let me know.
