  • Questions about Tao Pools and Nightclub Table Location

4-6 guys in our late 30s (a couple may be in their mid 30s). We go to Vegas every year usually early in the year. Last year we went to Vegas in April and hit the MGM pool. That was a game changing event. I have no idea why we haven't been during pool weather every other year. The pool scene was awesome. This year we are staying at the Venetian.

    1. Pool Party.

The Venetian has a general pool area and Tao Beach. I expect the Venetian general pool area will be a little older than the MGM crowd which works in our favor. Is that true for Tao Beach too?

We'd like a home base at Tao Beach rather than 5-6 lounge chairs. Cabana? Daybed? One side note - I will likely be paying for this cost myself.

Are both Friday and Saturday packed? Or is Saturday much better?

    2. Nightclubs. We will be staying in the Venetian so Tao would be a logical choice. I went to Tao a month or so ago for the first time (with clients). I know this description may sound odd, but Tao seemed very narrow to me. Like one long hallway with rooms off to the side. It seemed tough to move around throughout the club. I'd like to hit the clubs in Wynn/Encore. We will get table reservations because we won't get through the door otherwise. I haven't been to XS, Surrender or Tryst. Does anyone have input on what clubs we should choose and table locations? Table location is key to any club. We have to be in the middle to lure in the women.

I had a dance floor table at XS and that place is huge and very open and easy to move around.. We only had two bottles so I had to pony up around 500$ tip for that table on a Friday night.. Tryst is like XS but not as big and I didn't do table service so i cant comment on that.. I did tip 100$ for me and one other to skip the line/admission to enter tryst.

I would reccomend getting a corner daybed at Tao Beach. You all will have plenty of space and right near the action.

Here's a pricing guide from last year to give you an idea of how much they are:

If you do Tryst, I'd recommend a table by the pole. It's around the 300s.

If you go to Tao, there's an area below the loft which I think is called the Rockhouse or try the Opium Room.

I am basically in same situation as BigPimp, all this info is golden. Especially the table chart. Are there any more out there of other clubs? Thanks all.
