But, hey, in the end, to each their own. I'd rather spend my money on getting smashed and smushing.
I'm with you on that. I don't always stay at WynnCore properties because sometimes they can be too overpriced for my budget but there are many times where we've paid less than what we would have at THE HOTEL. I also prefer the north end of the strip to the south end.

You really can't go wrong with Mandalay, Venetian/Palazzo, or WynnCore. Just personal preference and what has the best deal. I've stayed at all 3 and nothing but minor complaints about any of them.

A knock against Mandalay is the lack of a Tier 1/2 nightclub there. There have been times where my night has been salvaged in the casino or outside XS on the way back to the room or the casino after a night at a different club.

For anyone who's stayed at Cosmo how does it compare to 3 mentioned above?

The properties fantastic if a bit small in comparison to the ones you mentioned. The rooms are great(sans - city view/non-terrace) and the customer service tries very hard...

But trying and doing are two different things. The hotel operations have been slightly better than a clusterfuck. I've gotten lucky, all three times I've been there it's been perfect. Can't say the same for many people I know.

So the City View isn't worth it? That seems to be the only room with 2 queens instead of 1 King.

How does Signature at MGM compare to THEHOTEL?

I was at the Signature Suites last year in May and it was amazing. I stayed in a junior suite. It was an owner-run property, so there was a little bit of a discount for staying there longer.

I'm not a gambler, so it was nice to have the opportunity to go to the room another way aside from the casino.

But, the best part for me was two-fold: the members-only pool which had its own DJ and bar, so it was like a pool party of its own (more chill than anything though) and free access to Wet Republic and the MGM pools. The only time I was charged for Wet Republic was as soon as MDW hit (starting the Friday).

Staying at THE HOTEL or Mandalay Bay, you'd still be charged to go to Moorea Beach.

They just don't put it on their site, the others rooms are available with queen beds. I've been in Terrace and Terrace Wrap Around. I think, since no one really wants the city view since there's no terrace they try to sell it as your ONLY option if you don't want to bunk with a friend. Not true. Just call when making the reservation... or after to update the request.

I like the MGM Signature better than theHotel, it seems the Mandalay property has fallen imo.

I was very annoyed when this happened to me a few years ago, was just a regular weekend and a Friday at that.

Good to know, may have to reconsider Cosmo. Was leaning towards Palazzo but I can't make up my mind

The Cosmopolitan is trendy, new and worth the price of admission but... Room size, cost, location, amenities, customer service and catering to all budgets -- big and small -- I don't think the Palazzo has many peers.

If you gamble though, do it elsewere Palazzo has a right shit comp program that'll maybe get you a room discount(no comp) even if you're a black chip player.
