I agree. Out of principle, I can't stand paying for sh*t that I won't be using. Resort fees? F*ck that.

If you're going with your husband, I'd see why Encore would be nice.

But, I can't stay at anything like the Wynn/Encore/Bellagio. I look at the people checking in and they all look OLD. PH will have Gallery soon and more choices for food, plus the soaker tub in the room is a good place to sleep if you're drunk. Just don't drown in it.

Haha that's awesome - but yeah that is what you have to do. If I decide to do a cheeky trip to Vegas again this year it will be ultra budgeted.

I wouldn't quite lump Wynn/Encore in Bellagio. I feel like WynnCore and Venetian/Palazzo fall in the middle ground between Hard Rock and Bellagio.

There are a lot of old people but these properties are huge so there's a lot of young people as well. Every time I've stayed at Wynn or Encore I've had a good time

Agreed, the fact that three of the best nightclubs in Vegas are at WynnCore tells a very different story than it just being 'for old people'. If I can afford it, I'm at Encore every time.

I'm not always cheap, but I'd prefer a more modern decor such as THE HOTEL or something over the top such as the Emperor Suite. I've stayed at both properties and a friend raves to stay at Wynn/Encore, because he can get to Tryst fast and get a girl out of Tryst/XS and into his room.

But, hey, in the end, to each their own. I'd rather spend my money on getting smashed and smushing.

I guess it also depends on your age and budget as well - when we stayed in LA we stayed in a 6 star hotel in the middle of Beverley Hills, the Hyatt Century Plaza.

Seriously you have never seen 5 blokes more out of place in the history of the world, rich suits and filthy stares everywhere we went. Mind you we were in thongs and shorts and sometimes an old grubby T-Shirt.
