Far too long until Vegas...

I went to Vegas this time last year, but never found this website until the end of last year. I've now booked up again, and have got a suite at The Signature at the end of August for 4 nights.

It'll be my first experience of Wet Republic/Rehab, and i've also heard things about the Encore Beach Club or something, has anyone got any experience of this place?

Anyway, just thought i'd say hi.....please excuse me if i seem bitter when you talk about going away in the next few weeks, while i have 5 months!

Good News: 16 days to go!!

Bad News: My airline has announced strike action for the weekend I am flying out!!

Hey Staggered, keep your chin up. I've been affected by BA strikes on many occasions and almost everytime the long haul flights (essentially where most of the money is) remain unaffected. They are pretty geared up to ensuring these will fly as planned.

I'm flying out 1st week in May with 3 other brits, 2 germans and a spaniard. Going to 'tear Vegas a new one'.... We all feel like supermen with our accents our there ;-)

Hey Staggered UK, saw this message on the one of the airline sights. You should be fine.

"British Airways is promising to weather this strike the way they've done in the past, by juggling crews and workers. The walkout is only for workers at Heathrow, so flights from Gatwick and London City would operate normally. All long-haul flights from Heathrow would keep operating as well, leaving only short haul flights affected. Most of those, in turn, will get shifted to other airlines so they can keep operating as well. If you're coming into the UK you're probably—probably—still safe. If you're a British citizen hoping to vacation to Europe though, things might get tricky.

Thanks buddy, that's good to hear. Put it this way, if the flight takes off on time then that first drink at 30,000 feet will taste so much sweeter!

Your trip sounds like it's going to be epic! I'll let you know of any tips that I pick up, especially with this damn accent

My body used to be a temple but recently it's become more of an adventure playground.

Lol..just tell her you'll be employing a strict 'look but don't touch' policy....or a 'touch but don't taste' policy.

Anyway, she's got nothing to worry about, it's not like anyone ever did anything naughty whilst they were in Vegas...
