I liked it a lot.
I was staying at Mandalay Bay this past August, and tried getting a reservation at Carnevino (booked), then Craft Steak (booked), so being that I was staying there, I walked downstairs to check out Strip Steak (#3 on my list).
I went downstairs and spoke to the hostess who informed me that they were booked until 10pm, but we could eat at the bar if we'd like. She mentioned that one table may be leaving early and I should check back in 15min, and it worked. Got a table...
The service was great. They brought out this bread dish that was amazing. It was some kind of bread in a little cast iron skillet, but I know it's only bread, but it's the best bread I've had in my life. Then our waitress brought out a french fry sampler with 3 kinds of fries and special dipping sauces, compliments of the chef. Our steaks came out, all of them cooked perfectly and it was a great meal. It was a very good steak (not the best), but still worth it. Overall the meal was great, and I'd definitely go back there. -
I got the same deal (or something very similar) on restaurant.com a while back. The place gets very high marks on Yelp and Tripadvisor. I plan on hitting up MIX or Foundation Room before/after for a drink and to check out the view.Comment

Stripsteak
Yes, Stripsteak is very good. I find they focus a lot on the sides and extras more than some of the traditional steakhouse type places that give you a great piece of meat and boring or average potatoes or whatever. Definitely give it a go, especially with a discount deal !Comment
