Tao on Saturday

My friend and I are coming in for a Conference this upcoming week and were planning on Tao for Saturday.

We got quoted $450 for TAO Beach or in the Lounge on the first floor .. or $900 for the main room or hip hop room.

I've never been to Tao before, how's the lounge area? Does the Beach area get packed?

2 bottles is okay ... but we might just die from drinking or end up giving it away so wanted to get any opinions.

I prefer the Opium room (hip hop room) because it's not as stuffy. I find the main room is good if you're wanting to impress. I can't say for TAO Beach since I've never been there at night.

The Lounge would be my last choice. It's much more chill than the other rooms.

I've done service in the Lounge... wouldn't recommend it. So far from the action.

I've also done serviece @ Beach Level... also, wouldn't recommend it.
Wasn't really packed when I was there in September... maybe it varies

If you've got the cash for sure go to the main or opium room.
I'm doing Main room next time, easy access to dance floor ftw

that's what typically happens .. i mean 900 is not really bad for a minimum on a saturday, i won't be surprised if we end up spending more ... as long as we have a good time. I'm married my self, but i know my friend is looking for a wingman that night

Exactly, ".. it's vegas"

Usually 900.00 for one bottle will be a magnum size of something. That's a really big bottle. Unless you're mega-champion drinkers or alcoholics, it should last you awhile. Tao is one of those places that put $ minimums instead of bottle minimums.
