Yep, Vegas will do that to you.

I walked into work on the Monday upon returning, sat at my desk and it read 2:05pm. I wondered why I was still sober...

Staggered - Yep as Joel said, we got ours at the Planet Hollywood shops, but if there is a line (usually is on Saturdays) go about 50m down miracle mile and you will come to RockBar I think it's called, sell the same stuff.
March 2011 was easily the best time of my life! Currently saving for MDW 2012 - who's coming with!?!?!?

Penny i dont think you can ever get over it....you get home, back to your normal life and you just want to be back there amongst the excitement!!

unfortunately guys i was unsuccessful at winning the WSOP satellite tournament on sunday. I finished a respectable 20th.....i was actually chip leader early in the tournament but they broke my table the seat i took up was totally cold. Could not get a hand to save my life!!

Currently brainstorming for other ideas to get me back to Vegas!!!!

Nice TR mate, I'm heading over for the first time in July, I'm one of ten Kiwis spending seven days in Vegas. (I hope the Kiwi accent goes down as well for us as the Aussie one did for you boys)
We're staying in Planet Hollywood for half the trip so I'll be sure to get the boys onto Fat Tuesdays.

Couple of questions though: The minimum spend of a grand to get a cabana, how many people was that between? Can you fit ten in a cabana? If so then 100 each including drinks sounds like it's a must do.
I've put myself in charge of investigating options for a pool party and I'm currently looking at Wet Republic, Tao Beach and Encore Beach.

I saw you mention something about an open bar at Ghostbar? What was the deal there? I had a quick look on their website but I'm a lazy bastard so I'd rather just ask you.
Previous trip: June 30 - July 7, 2011. Stayed at the Palazzo & PH Towers.
                    Returning: Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2014.

There's also a Fat Tuesday in the Caesar Forum shops...the Luxor....IP and somewhere else I'm forgetting. There's another place in the Miracle Mile called Fresh Bar & Grill that has a concoction called Happy Ending, sweet tea vodka and lemonade it's pretty amazing.

They also refill any novelty cup from any other place and for some reason when I went earlier this month the girl was re-filling our Fat Tuesday 20oz mugs for cheap. Like $10 for two cheap. I loved reading the TR, getting me pumped for my July trip. I'm the only non single guy going in our group but I've learned to embrace the role of separating the cockblock or cockblocks from the willing =)

Hi mate, you're going to have a great time. Yeah being pretty similar, you boys should pull some good numbers with your accents. Remember to give us some post trip statistics.

In regards to the Cabana, well it was a minimum spend of a grand for THAT particular day - it varies and being that Wet is now getting busier as it heats up, you're probably looking somewhere between 1500-2000. As for the amt of people, I don't know, contact them and find out, Thomas Gorman is a senior host on here - he can help you.

Re Ghostbar - basically you purchase your wristband from www.wanttickets.com. We got the Hosted Bar (free bar from 10-2 or something similar) at 1 club (Ghostbar) and VIP All Access to the other 3 clubs. You don't get free drinks at the other places, but it's a great deal as Palms is an awesome place, and when you're paying upwards of $50 for a round, f*cken joke. So definatley get the wristbands, they cost around $130, you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the good words on the TR, I am weaning myself off reading it as I just lose the plot each time I read it.

Far faaarrkks sakkke get me back there!!!

Sweet as mate, thanks for the tips. Sounds like the wristbands with drinks is the way to go, the boys will see it as a challenge and step up I'm sure.

I'll be sure to keep you updated, the pressure's on now! A few of the taken blokes on this trip are great wingmen so the odds are on the single blokes side.
