  • Wet Republic - few questions

My girlfriend and I are thinking about going on sunday April 10th and I had a couple questions because we have never been.

We put our name in the guest list, but how early should we be there if we want to get a lounge chair?

Will cover be more because they have the F me Im famous by David Guetta going on?

Lastly, are there lockers to store things like cell phones, cash, etc? or should you only bring an ID and CC?

good questions... I have also wondered about storing things like cash w/o getting it all wet.
    Do people take bags?
Just ID and credit card in the pocket so it doesn't matter if they get wet?

The link says that the lounge chairs have a f&b min for $150 on a Sunday.

Not a bad way to go since you would be paying at least $70 ($50 you $20 her) to get in anyways.

If you end up wanting to book a chair get ahold of Thomas, WetRepublic2010 on here, he is who I will be going through for either a chair or daybed on the 30th.

Last time we went we brought in a backpack to throw everything in, just know that they will check it and throw out all snacks and drinks (even water) that you have. Also fyi, I have had a few friends that have had wallets stolen out of bags, so keep 'em close.

Yes, people do take pool bags or totes to the pool. I would just stash the ID/CC in your bag so it doesnt get wet at all. Or you can always put your ID/CC in a ziplock bag, then put it in your pocket.

Or you could use a fanny pack and keep everything around your waist.

How good are the ziploc bags at keeping the water out, even if it's in your pocket and underwater for hours?

Do you really have no problems? Never tried it.

I got one of these from one of the hotel giftshops. Absolutely no leaking... You can fit ID, credit card and CASH easily. Its pretty thin. It can fit in your pocket, hold in your hand, etc. hide in your stuff.

I'd recommend keeping your stuff in your pocket at all times if it isn't locked away in a locker. If you're getting in the pool, DON'T leave it chillin at the chair. Even if someone is staying there to "watch" it. Just trust me on this one. If you don't want to chance someone walking off w/ your ID, just keep it on your body the whole time. I don't think water will really hurt a DL/CC, and wet money isn't really a big deal at all.
Oh, P-tr-ck, I STILL need to borrow your German Leg Breaking Machine....Thx.
