Since we have a huge electronic/house music following on these forums, I think its only appropriate I start a get connected thread on this event. I just came back from Ultra Music Fest in Miami, and I must say it was absolutely the best concert I have ever went to. EDC as you know is definitely one of the biggest and baddest EDM events on the West Coast.

If you are going to EDC, please post your Vegas trip dates + the hotel you are planning to stay at. Lets get together for before and after parties since many of the vegas venues will be filled with EDC talent all weekend long.

This event is going to be of epic proportions and lets show how sin city can do it like no other!

Thinking about buying the 3-day VIP pass but 500 bones kind a steep. Anyone had VIP pass to EDC before, is it really worth it comparing to GA pass?

I got VIP tickets last year at EDC 2010 in LA. Honestly, besides the line being much shorter than the GA line (which was ridiculously long) and a cool little area to chill in...it wasn't really worth more than double the price of a GA ticket.

The open bar was okay, but it was a very limited drink selection, and as is the case with many "open bars" the quality of the liquor wasn't great.



Definitely going to EDC in Vegas. The venue is amazing, and the lineups are dope too. Can't wait to see Tiesto on Friday.

I ended up booking at the Signatures for EDC! Should be worth it with Wet Republic so close!
