I believe they made the Go pool the family pool and the main/family pool the adults only pool this year. That's what I heard, not sure if it's true or not since I've never stayed there but I have friends who frequent. They love the pool scene and say it's one of only +s of staying there other than location.
how is the flamingo pool for someone mid 20's?

I was there last august. Main pool was fun. Mixed crowd. But plenty of young peeps. Go pool sucked. Don't waste ur time. Stick with the free pool or go to a real pool party.Blackout Artist

My wife and I and another couple were there May 19th-22nd and went to the new Go Pool that Saturday. We had a blast, lots of good lookin girls, great party atmosphere, dj, and even a little dance area. Blackjack tables to the side when you wanted to chill for a bit. Its definitely not on Wet Republic or EBC's level but it's pretty decent if u want a cheaper substitute.Originally posted by Carolina J View PostStaying at the Flamingo July 1st-7th.....My first time staying at this property in vegas. Thanks for the 411...sounds like it will be a good time. Question: I inquired about a day bed for Sat. 7/1 (295.00+two drinks) but they would not take reservations-first come first serve. Is it worth the money will so little F&B included? Is it worth me getting down their first thing Sat. morning? If I should reserve it, where would be the best spot? (considering I will be looking at an empty pool when reserving it) Things to consider---into the party without being in the fist pumping mosh pit...Thanks for giving me your take.Originally posted by Talyn James View PostMy wife and I and another couple were there May 19th-22nd and went to the new Go Pool that Saturday. We met a group that rented one of the day beds. They had a covered bed(if you want shade) and some weren't covered. It was $300 F&B minimum, that was it total no rental feel just spend at least $300 u get the bed plus gratuity obviously. It was right up against the water just step off the bed into the water. It was a good spot on the north end of the pool, but if you get there early u can grab free chairs next to the pool so it's all your own preference. Hope that helps bro have a great time.Originally posted by Carolina J View PostThanks for the 411...sounds like it will be a good time. Tried to stay at Flamingo a year or so back with some friends, but once we saw our recently upgraded room, we went back down, checked out and moved over to Mandalay Bay. We are admittedly hotel snobs and the Flamingo's awesome overuse of white pleather, cheap brown furniture and pink accents reminded us too much of what a college freshman would buy for her dorm room at Target using her parents' credit card.
Oh, and that's not even counting the 8 used condoms we walked past in the garage and bridge to the hotel.
Class class class.
Never made it to the pool because we couldn't step back into this property.
