I have some girl-friends that are heading down to Vegas for a birthday party. They are staying at Caesar's Palace. On the Friday night, they want to get a Limo and cruise the strip (the birthday girl has never been to Vegas), and then go to dinner.

They asked me for advice on 2 questions:
1) should they set up a limo ahead of time or just try to snag a free one outside the hotel? I have only done the latter on a whim, but I'm guessing you might get a better deal if you reserve one in advance?
2) from Caesar's what is a restaurant they can limo to that will be fun, good, but not outrageous $$$. Something like Pink Taco, I'm guessing, but what are some other options/locations?

Your best bet will definitely be to book a limo in advance. On a busy night on the strip, the ones that sit out front of a casino will charge you much more for an hour than it would cost to book a one-hour ride in advance. My advice is Presidential Limo, which you can visit at www.presidentiallimolv.com. They have a nice fleet and probably the best rates you'll find for an hour package.

Some dinner suggestions for a restaurant with a good, fun vibe. The prices per head listed below will be estimates for an ALL INCLUSIVE dinner (split appetizers, one entree, 2 drinks, tax, and tip):

Tao: $75/person
Lavo: $75/person
N9ne Steakhouse: $140/person
STK: $120/person
Capo's (Mob-Style Italian on Sahara Ave.): $80/person
