  • Sunday evening clubs, older crowd...?

    Hi - first poster here..

I'm trying to get an idea of a club to end up at on a Sunday night for a Stag night in June. While definitely keen on a crowd, we don't want anywhere too full-on or somewhere that will have that much of an issue with 5 lads turning up. We'll probably rock up 2 + 3 so hopefully getting in won't be too much of an problem. Is Sunday the sort of night where we have to look for industry nights? Or will it still be fairly lively anyway? The tentative plan is a classy final supper somewhere (probably Cut @ The Venetian) then batting on at a decent club for a few hours.

We'll all be well dressed (and fairly civilised) but as we're all mid to late 30's, it would be good to end up somewhere that isn't full of young 'uns. Are there any reco's for clubs that might suit our 'older demographic' a bit more...?

    Cheers in advance fellas

Based on your criteria, I would suggest eating Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio and then making your way to The Bank (which is also in the Bellagio). Sundays are great there and it's typically a late 20's-late 30's type of crowd.

Try to get a table at Prime overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Great spot for a last meal in Vegas.

Cheers for that - I appreciate the reply. That sounds like a good plan. Drinks/dinner/club all in the Bellagio. The other option for clubs with an slightly older scene, which keeps coming up when I read through other threads is 'Tryst'. I guess the drinks/dinner/club plan could work just as well at Wynns as it would at the Bellagio. Do you have any views as to the pro's and con's of either venue? Or are they pretty similar? We're going to be cabbing it to either venue so where they're situated won't make much difference.

Also - although we're keen on a club, a couple of us aren't exactly prolific dancers - more inclined to prop up the bar, at least for the early part of the night. Is there much of a difference between Tryst and Bank in terms of layout? I've read that Bank is quite small and more suited to dancing than bar-propping, is Tryst a bit bigger (and with more areas to hang out other than the dancefloor).

Finally, Bank seems to be ideal for a Sunday - lively, but not completely rammed. Is that also the case for Tryst do you think? Can we expect most clubs to still be pretty lively on a Sunday?

Thanks again - appreciating the tips - this is a great resource.

Tryst is not open on Sundays. Your Sunday choices would be: LAVO, Vanity, XS, and Bank.
