Mikey- so I'm assuming that your not the guy that would be walking us to our table- how does one handle that situation- obviously you are the man that makes things happen and has been amazing through this whole process- how much will the other party actually taking us to our table expect?Vegas April 20-23rd 2011

Had a great experience last trip..went to pure with a buddy of mine around 12:30am. We decided to go there cause we were too late to tip our way into Marquee. The line at Pure was semi-long, though nowhere near Marquee's line. A door guy at Pure got us in through the line (diamond card helped), gave him a decent tip.
We chilled at pure for an hour or so. I saw the same door guy working security inside the club later and approached him to see if he had any buddies working the line at Marquee. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. He was nice enough to give us a name of someone working the door at Marquee and told us to refer his name. I offered to tip the guy again for his generous info but he said "I appreciate it but give it to him instead if he can get you in". Now that I think about it (sober) I can't really see why he would have accepted the tip, after all he was giving us advice on how to get into another, competing club haha. We went back to Marquee, found the guy, got to skip the line, gave him a good tip. Had a great time at Marquee, I was impressed. Marcus Schulz was amazing.
Moral of the story, kindness (and tipping) can go a long way, and it never hurts to ask!
btw it's awesome that door hosts like Mikey go out of their way to make sure people are having a good time. It's people like him that make this a great, useful forum. My last, a buddy of mine had accidentally booked his flight a day early. So I forwarded Mikey's info over to him when he was in Vegas solo. He shot Mikey a txt, got a quick response and was able to get into Surrender with ease on a Wesneday night. although he was solo he met people and got to go club hopping with some locals he met that same night.
Mikey: I'll most likely be hitting you up on 4/20 for Surrender, sir.Last edited by Vater; 03-31-2011, 01:55 PM.Bachelor Party Aug 16-19th!

uhm.. depends how they take care of you... If it is at a different club... toss em a bill or so depending on minimum.. and they are happy.. if its at my club.. tipping me goes right into the tip pool so everyone is happy!Originally posted by hectekk View PostThese are some awesome questions many of us are probably wondering also.Originally posted by Rogue715 View PostMikey- so I'm assuming that your not the guy that would be walking us to our table- how does one handle that situation- obviously you are the man that makes things happen and has been amazing through this whole process- how much will the other party actually taking us to our table expect?Originally posted by MikeyTantalo View Postnah.. good hosts come to check on their peeps if needed...
