I've gone and seen Kaskade at Marquee every month now. I wear my dress shoes and am dying after dancing for 6 hours. During his last performance I notices some people wearing sneakers. I've been looking and believe they were similar to these:

Would these be kosher or did those guys have friends who maybe worked there and walked them in? Either answer is gonna upset me because I'll be bummed I wasn't looking into this earlier. Thanks.

Marquee you'll be ok because they've got a pretty relaxed policy on shoes. Everywhere else it's down to chance, unless you've got a table, in which case they're more likely to ignore it.

I wear Converse All-Star low tops in brown. I usually get them shined up before going somewhere and I can't remember getting hassled. I make a point of wearing a collared shirt and sometimes a tie though with nice dark jeans or pants though.

You did well, we had bottle service at Pure in 2010 i had a smart shirt trousers etc, and i had to go back to my hotel to change out of my trainers (even though they were immaculately clean) because the doormen said they could mark the floor.

Don't do it. I went to marquee this saturday for above and beyond and they picked out every guy without dress shoes and told them to get out of line. They're very strict. It was so packed greasing didn't even work for those guys. I've been going to Vegas for years and I never risk it. Just buy more comfy dress shoes or get insoles.

redbullvodka: what times were you there? I was there! I didn't get there until around 1:30 though, but yeah, it seemed really busy, but I'd already had a lot to drink to notice.

got there at 10:00 but had to wait for friends. some people waited for 3.5 hours. a friend of mine is a host in vegas so we get pulled in quick. we stayed to 3:00am. I heard they were open to 5:30am.

Same here. Even though I was solo, I knew I wouldn't have gotten in except for the friend. There's no way I'd wait 3.5 hours anywhere.

I wore the most hideous True Religion sneaks, affliction gear, and Ed Hardy hat to XS and Surrender on Halloween. I thought it was very scary.

Standing 3.5 hours non-stop would hurt your feet no matter what shoes you had on

Mikey, what's Surrenders take on cowboy boots? They are dress boots with no scuffs, I have dress shoes, but living in BFE I'm more comfortable in boots.
Landing in LV on the 30th!
