This is killing me - Do I drink to XS, or just Surrender?

Hi,

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but for Saturday April 23 I just can't decide between XS or Surrender. I'm changing my mind about 10 times a day at the moment, so I've decided to put it out to the forum.

Mikey T has been brilliant so far and I know he'll sort out a brilliant result whatever we decide, but I've never been to either so it's like asking a vegetarian to decide between sirloin and t-bone.

To put it into context: It will be 13 guys, so table service is a given. We're hoping to keep the drink spend to about $2.5 - 3K.

BUT it will be our last night in Vegas so it HAS to go somewhere where it's going to get crazy in that 'are we going to make our flight tommorrow?' sort of way. Otherwise I know people will start falling by the wayside.

To me, Surrender looks amazing and I have a feeling our money will go further, but I get the impression it's more of a lounge / chill out / have a chat on a cabana type place with a smaller dancefloor. After 2 nights hard partying I can imagine some long faces and drooping eyes if we can't get the energy going.

XS looks awesome as well, and I know the party vibe will be there, but then I wonder if it will be too packed and our budget won't get us 'prime' real estate.

So the criteria is - craziness, beautful people, and having so much fun that someone misses their flight back to the UK.

PS - Surrender already has the bonus point of allowing us to meet and take care of Mikey T in person. Seriously mate, if you ever come to England I'm going to get you a knighthood and an invite to the Royal wedding

And a really stupid PPS - What do we do if we're at Surrender and it's raining? I can't run the risk of god watering down my drink!

I think given your criteria I'd say go for XS. I love Surrender, and it's not that lounge-y, but because it's a bit more spread out, it's less hectic than XS and by the sound of it that's what you're going for.

Having said that, if you got a dancefloor table rather than a cabana it'd be the same sort of thing.

Oh, and cabanas are covered and so are the dancefloor tables so it shouldn't be an issue. Vegas doesn't get that many days of rain a year though, so I don't think you have to worry.

$3k should be able to get you a pretty decent table on a Saturday. The 13 guys part is a bit rough, but what can ya do?

I would hit up Ryan Perrings directly and see what he says he can do.

Alot of people prefer XS b/c it is the definition of Vegas Club scene. But Surrender is my favorite place on the strip, and always have a good time there (actually going to be there myself this Friday). At Surrender I never feel overcrowded, where as XS on saturdays can be a damn madhouse. And At Surrender I always feel like people arent as stuffy. Your $$ will probably go a little bit farther as er tabel location.

But you cant go wrong with either, and thats whats so great about Vegas!!!

If you're looking for insanity, go to XS. You will be blown away.

He's right about Surrender though, it probably will be easier on the wallet.

Thanks for the help all, since we have a plane to catch the next day the sensible thing to do would be go to somewhere a bit quieter and cheaper so we don't get too crazy and have an early night.

But I was never very good at being sensible in Vegas (or anywhere)...so it looks like XS might be winning this race!

I would do XS. Yes, you will pay more and I'm sure Mikey would get more out of your 3K. But once you walk in you'll get it. You will be so happy you checked out XS. It will be packed, it will be crazy, girls everywhere, get a table and enjoy.

Go out with a bang. Miss your flight. As I tell my friends. I tend to make a lot of really bad decisions... but they usually lead to us having a really good time.

I really think XS is Vegas' very best. The energy is unmatched and the club is gorgeous. Cost is really going to be roughtly the same as far as bottles go. XS is going to want 5 bottles most likely for a Saturday. I think the other hot club, and some may prefer it, is Marquee. I have started at Surrender early, moved to Marquee, and somehow seemed to end up XS on more than one Saturday and REALLY love XS.
