Ph Penthouse Upgrade Fee?

Myself and some buddies are planning a trip to vegas in August. Were planning ahead and booking the hotel in April so yesterday we basically decided we were going to get the 2BDR Penthouse suite at PH Towers.

I called PH just to see for shits and giggles what the price of the penthouse was. The women told me that it was a time share property and they didn't actually allow you to book them in advance, and you have to check availability when your checking in, then you must pay an upgrade fee. When I asked about the fee she explained it depends on the day.

I was wondering if anyone on this board has had experience with either the 2BDR Suites or the Penthouses at PH and if so how was your experience and what was the upgrade fee for the penthouse if you were able to get it.

It's weird...sometimes they'll give you a price sometimes they wont. I guess it depends on how much work they want to put into it.

I've been quoted $100-$200 more per night, on top of the 2BR king suite, but they are so secretive with the pricing who knows if thats right.
