Its just me & a buddy (no bottle service, thats just too much to drink & $$$). Is 9:30 to late/early?? I went there one time in Dec at 1:30 AM, and there was no line no prob. Don't really want to wait for over an hour.

By the way, we're hitting up Drai's on Sun, Studio 54 (I have a room @ MGM) on Tues, and Lavo on Wed. Do these clubs require showing up early? I did Drai's back in Dec, and had no wait, but had a couple girls with me that time. Thanks fellas!!

Contact a host in advance at the places you plan to go to and work out a "grease deal" for them to walk you in or speak to a doorman and work out a $$ deal in person. There's no reason to wait in a line in Vegas.

Last Monday it was 3 hours by 10:30. We had a table so there was no wait. Afrojack was there that night, so it might be different depending on if there's an event. Also on Saturday night we went to Marquee at 8:30 for PVD and there was still a monster line. Bought tickets in advance so we were able to skip the line. I'd look into that if it's offered.

Yeah, I'm thinking to just hit the club up at 1:30 AM, and do the smaller clubs at 10 PM.

How would the less popular clubs like Studio 54 be on a Tuesday night at 10 PM? If that club got mid-packed (that would be nice). If it was over-packed or dead (that would suck).

Does anyone even go to Studio 54 anymore?

The occupancy is 2000. If they can get 500 folks in there, that would be hella nice!

Turn up whatever time you want, and grease your way in. I wouldn't wait in line for 20 minutes, let alone 3 hours.

How much is appropriate for greasing (does that get around COVER?). How do you do it?

It depends on how much demand there is to get into the club you want to go to. There's hardly any demand to get into Studio 54, so you wouldn't have to pay as much there as you would at XS or Marquee.

Your best bet is to contact the hosts listed on the front page and tell them what you're looking to accomplish and what night you want to go to their club. Then workout the details between the two of you.

is contacting one of the hosts what a solo guy should do? I dont want vip, just wanna get in

is it just as easy as giving a doorman 20$?

xs on monday is not bad at all. my group came around 10:40 and we were only in line for maybe 30 min. max. line moves pretty fast and if you have a group of girls you will likely be able to skip the line.

In most cases, $20 won't cover it. You should plan on slipping the guy AT LEAST what the cover charge is, if he's going to waive it for you.

If there's a club with a really long line, you should be looking at about $50/head for them to walk your whole group in past the line.

I'm thinking about slipping the bouncer a 100 for me and friend to get in at XS. Do you have to be discreet about it or is there a certain way to do it? Also, will the bouncer get us past paying the COVER 2. 50 a piece dosen't sound bad at all to by pass the line.

It's always best to be discreet. Unless you ask for it and are firm, but polite, expect to pay the cover IN ADDITION to taking care of the doorman.

As Universal said "Contact a host in advance at the places you plan to go to and work out a "grease deal" for them to walk you in..."

That'd be the best way. & yes, preferably text them, no more than one day in advance.
