So, what is Tabu & The Cathouse like?

It's been a while, but from what I remember, Tabu does have a small dance floor. However, the line to get in wasn't too long, even on a Saturday night. It seems like the place to go if you want a simple time getting into somewhere where you could dance/drink.

And the "tables" are large plush ottomans so it's never hard to catch some women dancing on top. Sweet.

You can get bottle service or cocktail minimums in the lounge (blue room), the nightclub (red room) is for bottle service only.

Tabu is a great change of place from the crowded mega clubs. They still have dancing and they will run drink specials at times. I think tall Tecate cans were 2 for $8 last year when I went.
