A new updated club guide is needed on here

Common questions I see on here is how certain nightclubs are on certain nights and what type of music is played. I think if someone made an updated guide it would answer a lot of peoples questions. This type of information could be useful to help people decide where they wanna go.

1. Cover charge and min bottle price

2. Music format: alot of clubs play house, hip hop, top 40 but how much of each is played? Is it more for a house fan? hip hop fan etc?

3. Average wait to get in and recommended time to arrive w/o bottle service

4. Party vibe: Is it more chill? lots of dancing? meat market?

5. Type of crowd: age, race, douche bags, etc

6. Eye candy

7. Service

8. Good place to pick up men or women

9. Best nights

I think constantly updating the club guides is a good thing. A couple thoughts on your suggestions:

I doubt any club will ever commit to Jack posting an admission price or bottle price. Unofficially you can get that information on the forums. The menu bandit thread is somewhere around here (as you probably know). Not to mention, i'm sure Jack isn't familiar with admission costs or bottle prices himself anyway.

It's hard to commit to a wait time too. Certain places could have certain events going on, or it may just be a super busy night. While it would be nice to have an idea, I think a lot of people depend on this site for information and even plan their entire trip off of it. If someone ends up at a club with a 2 hour wait instead of a 45 minute wait then first off their not following the guides, but second Jack might be on the end of a lot of bad emails or forum posts for his information being wrong. It's too hard to gauge.

I would also love this information if possible. There are so many new clubs. And I would like if the club profiles on the main page where updated to include: Marquee, XS, Haze and Surrender.

I had to smile at this especially for 4, 5, 7 & 8. I've had some personal experience with 7 and it having a bad waitress can really make a night go sour. Some of my best nights have been because of our waitress. Sometimes, it's because the waitress has a bad table that she'll take it out on yours.

As for 8, as a friend of mine says, if she likes you enough, she'll go back to a barn with you.

Those are all such variables, none of them are are constant or accurate. I've been to XS when it's dead and I've been to Studio 54 and it was "off and poppin'.

It is Vegas afterall, it's really just a roll of the dice, but you can always stack the odds in your favor
