  • Great Cocktails/Martinis

My friend and I have the afternoon in Vegas before meeting a bachelorette party for the weekend.
Are there any places for crazy drinks we can try - daytime/early evening?

I stumbled across this article but I wasn't sure if there's any place better:

Ya I wish more of the lounges/clubs/bars posted their cocktail lists.

Would be awesome to know where to go for a bunch of tasty signature drinks!

The Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan has some great cocktails that are unique and different. I've only been to the first floor bar, but apparently each of the 3 levels has different signature drinks. This link elaborates on it and gives some other bar suggestions as well - http://www.lavishvegas.com/las_vegas_bars.htm

I also read somewhere else that you can get a cocktail that tastes like a thin mint cookie on the third level, and on the 2nd level they have one that tastes like S'mores and another that has cotton candy in it.

        cocktails

yes, Chandelier Bar has some great stuff, also Vesper back by Cosmo reception has a lot of 'classic' recipies with truly fresh ingredients.

Petrossian at Bellagio, FiAMMA at MGM both have some fantastic bar/cocktail menus (if you go to MGM, also check out Rouge). La Scena at the V was alright, but drinks not rave-worty.

Of course being a huge tequila hound and Sammy fan, I have to give a shout out to Cabo Wabo though it's not a 'classy' bar scene, they have some mighty tasty waboritas!

Another chime in for The Chandelier Bar; while they didn't have any one, jaw-dropping, only there signature drink their cocktail list is plentiful, unique(enough) and extremely well-made.

I hate mojitos but at Casa Fuente cigar bar in the forum shops their mojitos are the fucking nectar of the gods. (failing that they also have a stellar scotch and whiskey collection)

            Thanks for the suggestions.

Chandelier and Vesper look intriguing. Especially the thin mint cookie.

We figure we're going to be drinking the whole weekend anyway, might as well start off in the afternoon with some good cocktails..

I have to concur with the other posters about Casa Fuentes Mojitos they are the best in town. I crave them regularly even had the bartender show me how to make it at home!! secret ingredient DARK MONTECRISTO RUM!! Also be sure to try the Don Carlos Caipirinha if you are into Brazilian Cachaca, also it is infused with a little bit of tobacco infused gran marnier YUMMY!
