Temporary ID Papers

We are going to Vegas next Thursday and my cousin just texted me saying she hasn't received her new ID yet.

She turns 21 on Wednesday, the day before we arrive and she just texted me saying she hasn't got the new one yet.

Her current ID is expired or will expire by the time we get there and she only has the temporary ID along with her expired ID.

If by chance she doesn't receive her new ID, will her expired ID along with the Temporary ID's be enough to get into clubs? Let alone even buy a drink at a bar?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where is she from? When I turned legal and I didn't have my proper ID I used a combination of my expired ID, the temporary ID and multiple cards (government issued health card, school card, etc.) & a monthly bill statement.

I don't know how strict Las Vegas is though.

I dont know about California but in Colorado you get a piece of paper that has all of your information that you then have to carry with your expired ID. A friend of mine took those two with her and didnt have any problems. She always had the paper with her but rarely was asked for it. The ID is expired but the dates are the same so as long as you carry that paper with you I think you should be fine.

It'll be fine. I was just in Vegas last week w/ a friend in this same situation. She had her expired CA license and her paper renewal and we had no problems at all. Actually, they didn't even ask for the paper renewal once. Also, there's an older thread in here with this same question and one of our resident hosts, Mikey T, said it's no problem w/ the paper ID. Straight from the source, man.

As Moe said though, its all good, expired ID will probably be enough, especially if its super recent.
