haha..I can definitely relate to that. I'm usually the realistic one in the group and I have some financially challenged friends who aren't afraid to admit they mooch.Originally posted by Vegasorbust View PostAlright so heres the thing im going to vegas with a group of 10...i tried explaining to them that we need atleast 3 bottles...but there all cheap SOB's. I ended up booking my trip on 4/20 after all cause it was damn cheap, as we discussed in the other thread. If you run out of alcohol I'm sure some of your friends will give in too. Just dont be quick to pay for the next bottle..just be like "told you guys, so are we going to buy another bottle or not". Tell your server the situation before you get wasted and I'm sure she'll help you encourage the rest of the group.
where you getting bottle service at?Bachelor Party Aug 16-19th!

It's tougher going as a guy. My first time doing bottles organizing a group I was out 1k because a big portion of the group wasn't willing to buck up and pay. A lot of the group kept saying they paid and some said they didn't drink so they shouldn't have paid. From that trip, I dumped some friends (they lost my trust) and I don't bother asking a lot of them (can't stand 25+ year olds with no stable job and no future).Originally posted by KristinK View PostI have so many cheap, clueless, idiot friends. Learned my lesson years ago - they are fun at home, but not in Vegas. Now I roll with a small hand selected crew that knows what's up and how to act.
At least with girls, you have an easier chance to roll in, whether it be guest list or "making new friends".FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

There are friends and then there are Friends you go to Vegas with. Almost always the latter is a smaller and different group of people. It's always a drag when one person doesn't want to pay, do the same stuff, etc. That's why it takes multiple trips to get it right. And doing Vegas as a bargain always sucks the fun out of the whole experience.Vegas Past, Present & Future

We all have friends like that. On my previous trip a few of my friends didn't want to do BS, but I booked tables anyways. When they realized that it would cost them $40 to get in, wait in-line for 2hrs and a drink would cost $15/ea they quickly agreed that BS was the way to go. Yes, we did go mid-week so I was able to get some B1G1 deal which came out to like $120 a person but even if I didn't get deals and got the standard 2btl minimum it would've been well worth the $250/pp.
Sometimes all you need to do is just break it down to your friends pricewise. I'm sure some will agree and be down for BS and some still will say NO. So for the one's that say NO have them go to the GA line and wait 2hrs to get in (while you have been inside having an awesome time) have them buy drinks at the bar and don't allow them in your table area even if they are your friends. After that, their lesson will be learned and they will be down to get BS the next night.
