The Conex convention is bringing something like 125k attendees. I'm sure you noticed hotel prices were a little higher than normal for this time of year! Also, if you're staying until Monday... Wolfgang Gartner will be at XS.

I have a friend that wants to pick Tryst over LAX this Saturday. We're supposed to go down with 3 girls (3:2 ratio) and if it goes south with them (I don't know these girls, my friend does and I think he's hooked up with one of them before), then Tryst would have a better chance of...you know what I mean. Personally, I don't care. I just want to drink.

I've had fun at both spots, but it seems like LAX is so much better if you have a table, while at Tryst, it doesn't seem to matter so much.

We'd have a table at either one.

I tried to sway him to other places like Lavo or Surrender or Tao (I like Tao's Opium Room), but he doesn't want to chance it with a place we've never been to before. (Lavo or Surrender).

Any suggestions anyone?

Me and my boys are getting a table on the dance floor at Tryst this weekend... never been there, and I'm hoping it's a good time.

All day in the middle of the desert blowing up an old car with a myriad of guns and some serious clubbing in the evening... looks to be a perfect trip

Drais on Sat early sunday morning

We booked at table at Drais early Sunday morning. I've heard good things about it online, but wanted to check on here and find out if anyone has been before, if its fun, etc. We're planning on chilling in the house room.
