    Hi everyone,

So I'm planning my bucks for late mid May, I'm looking at Tao on Saturday night. There are 8 guys, we know we will have to get a table, but the question is where in the club to get it? Not keen on the main room as I hear it gets crazy packed on a Saturday night, the other options I have been offered are the "side vip room" and the beach level, I'm leaning toward the beach level cause hopefully the weather should be good and it sounds a bit more chilled, hopefully still a fair bit of traffic though. Can anyone give me some details on the side room as i haven't been able to find any info on it?

    Thanks in advance.

Trust me, you want to be in the main room at Tao, especially with no guarantees on what the weather will be like at night in May.

Security will prevent the crowd from interfering with your party at your table and the main room is where all the energy is.

+1 on the Main Room. The highest minimums are in there, but that's where the fun is. Give the security guard $20-$40 and nobody will bother you or be crowding around your table area.

You'll also be looking at 3-4 bottles in the main room as a minimum. They might let you get away with 2 if you go on the beach level.

Don't forget at least $75 to your host per bottle for a total of $250 for 3-4 bottles. Then 8% tax, 20% gratuity to your server, and at least $20-$40 each to your busboy and security.

Thanks for the feed back guys, I'm not sure our budget will stretch to the main floor though, most of the group is coming from Australia or Europe. I'd say our max would be around 250 - 300 pp.

Where in relation to the main floor is the side room anyway?

It could be the opium room, hallway, or behind the bar in the main room.
