Expired ID... sorry for another one...

So my friend has been to the DMV 3 times this week and it has taken so long she has had to leave each time so she can get to work on time. Her ID expired just this past Sunday and we are going to Vegas Friday. I know she would be fine with the paper from the DMV but that might not be able to happen...
SO do you think she will be ok with a less than a week expired ID? Keep in mine she is 23 and really hot.

well I was going to say she's in trouble...but since you mentioned she's hot I don't think she'll have anything to worry about. The TSA will definitely let it slide, but only cause she's hot.



haha on a more serious note, I've seen many people here and on yahoo answers (I was in the same predicament once) mention that there should be no problem with TSA, she just may be subject to a more thorough search at the airport. Most door guys at clubs will be okay as long as it's not expired for over 30 days. There's never a guarantee with an expired ID but it's only 3 days so I don't see it being a problem.

I personally had no problems when I traveled to vegas once with my ID being expired by 12 days. One of the door guys at the club did mention say "you know your ID's expired right?" me: "yeah my new one's in the mail" door guy: "OK Have fun". I think your friend will be alright.

ahh, one less thing to worry about then! Best of luck to your friend, I'll be surprised if she gets rejected anywhere. they're usually pretty lenient about that, especially with the ID only being expired 3 days.

I see you're from Cali. Just so you know, your friend may be in for a wait for a replacement. I sent in for my renewal ID the first week of November as my ID expires around Thanksgiving. I didn't get my renewal till just before Valentines Day

Same here! It's my friend who doesn't have one but I lost mine over thanksgiving break (right before Vegas but luckily I had a passport) and got a new one and then didn't get it until right after V day. Oddly enough the ID I ordered came after only one month...

Yup, those new ID's are a bitch to get these days! Took me 8 weeks!

As far as expired ID's go...I don't know if all clubs check for that, but if they do, I'm sure a few days won't stop them from letting a hottie in the club!
