    anyone got a name of a good bar in Santa Monica or LA we have 3 hours to kill before we catch our flight to Vegas
    Its a Wednesday afternoon late May

      If the weather is nice, you might want to check out the Whaler in Venice. It's on the beach and pretty chill. Depending on traffic, its about 20 minutes away.

      Couple buildings over is Cabo Cantina (2 for 1 happy hour 4-8) and a couple blocks further is Baja Cantina.

        Yeah, Venice is great, go hit the boardwalk and you'll be guaranteed to find a cool bar, and some cool shops and really odd people.

        I really like James' Beach.
