  • What to expect with table service?

Right now we have table service for Pure and Body English (also are going to hit up the JC tables). One concern is how 'disconnected' we would be from the rest of the club.

If we're at our table, is it really easy to jump in and dance on the floor? Are you 'separated' from the rest of the club at all? I was at a club in Mexico with table service, and you could exactly get from your table to the dance floor easily. It would take some work on your end.

Also, if say me and my friends decide to get up and dance on the floor for an hour (leaving the table with nobody else at it) would there be any risk of 'losing' our table? I would hate to leave, then come back to find out that our table has been 'sold' to somebody else because they thought we left.

I'm not sure how the tables are setup at all, it'll be my first time starting June 23.

You should be fine. Just tell your waitress what you're doing and to watch your table. Also, it never hurts to throw the bouncer some $$ and ask that he make sure no one drinks your alcohol.

I had a group of friends over MDW do exactly what you are talking about. We had no problem and we were cuttin it up pretty good out there.

      As long as you...

communicate with your security/bouncer early on in the evening and ask him all your questions you should be fine. These include (but are not limited to):

      - bringing in "guests"
      - "exiting" "guests"
      - what happens when your whole table leaves for a bit
      ...

As a tip to the bouncer, I've usually handed casino chips his way.

How much is a good amount for the bouncer?

And, anybody have any idea on how close/far away we'd be from the dance floors at Pure and Body English?

i would throw him $50, and as for pure, you could end up being pretty far from the dance floor do you know where your table is? as for BE you could be close or you could be upstairs again all depends if you know where your tables are

Ive never had a bouncer accept a tip at pure. They've always said the would get fired if they took it. Everywhere else this is common.

At BE, you will more than likely be upstairs, unless you have a hook up, or you shell out some $$$

when I was at pure, our table was on the stage (best spot in the joint) and we constantly took care of our bouncers to watch the table....but it was about 4-5 years ago so policy may have changed

I booked with Justen Crews (Body English) and Ben (Pure) about a month in advance. Does that have anything to do with what table you will get?

What is a way to ensure we will get a table on the main dance floor?

unfortunately it doesnt do anything about table location, I would just contact justin and ben and let them know you will take special care of them if they can get you on the stage at pure and near the dance floor at BE!!

It all depends on how busy the club is and how nice of a table you want. We brought 7 ppl into Body English on a chaotic Sunday night and it cost in between $300 and $500 (in tip) to get a table directly on the dancefloor. I don't recall exactly b/c I was pretty tuned in already. However, it was money well spent, as it was the best table I've ever had in Vegas, and it was by far the best Vegas experience I've ever had.

That actually sounds cheap, considering there are only 2 tables on the dance floor at BE.

That post just jogged some memories loose in my brain. Let me rephrase--We weren't on the dancefloor. We had a great table downstairs that was right in the middles of the action.

BTW, one cool perk at BE is that the bouncer nearest your table will personnally escort you to the private bathrooms downstairs. Then you don't have to wait in line and mess with that b.s. and the ladies in your group will really appreciate it as well.
