Converse/Chucks at Marquee and XS???

It seems that some of the clubs are being more relaxed on footwear for men. Does anyone know for sure if Marquee and/or XS lets guys in if they're wearing Chucks?? I plan on wearing a collared button up shirt and jeans, just prefer Chucks to dress shoes. Any input on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

in short, it's a gamble but you have a slight advantage if your outfit makes up for the shoes.

XS not sure. But Marquee has explicitly stated they are open to sneaks/etc as long as they look fashionable/style with the overall look.

def up to doorman. After waiting in line I got denied at lax last year and i was wearing black leather true religion "chuck taylor" shoes. Went to a dif doorman with $50 and asked to skip the line. Then as we were walking in I asked him if he thought my shoes were ok just to see what he would say, and he said yea for sure. But i did give him $50 so whatev. i saw someone else get right in wearing red chucks. Just a gamble

I'd never risk it, but apparently Marquee is much more relaxed about shoes. I don't really see what the issue with wearing dress shoes is though.

That definitely helps, but it's still a risk. If you have a good relationship with a host it helps, too.
