I sell crack, which is pretty much recession-proof.

+1 for the planning and saving months before hand. On a night out I usually spend about $100 on everything, If you cut one night out like that a week, thats $400-500 a month I save. Just got to budget and sacrifice a bit to do it right in Vegas.

        Totally Worth It.

During the trip itself, many members also pounce on hotel deals, sacrificing location for more money on the clubs.

Me personally during a Vegas trip, it's more about where I choose to spend the money. Many go to Vegas and enjoy expensive dinners and shows and blow a boatload of money at the tables. I don't do the expensive meals (unless my parents are paying lol) opting more for mcdonalds/food court, I cut back significantly on gambling (only play some hold'em here and there), and I never go to a show. That money many people spend elsewhere in vegas, I choose to spend most of it at the clubs.
That pretty much sums up how I spend my money too. I'm all about eating the cheapest food, I couldn't care less about shows, and only gamble a little bit at the sports book (Why waste my precious time in Vegas playing blackjack, when I can do it 20 minutes away or 2 and a half hours away in AC).

            Priorities, my friend.
totally agree i planned my trip 6 months in advance and saved i unfortunatley don't get to come all the time i've been lucky enough to come once a year the last couple of years.....i figure if i'm gonna do might as well save up and do it right can't live a life like that all the time so why not enjoy vegas when you can afford to do it......

Just save up for it, if you plan your trip a few months in advance you can save a fair bit of money. Dont regret a cent spent in vegas, was the best time of my life and will do it all again in July.

Completly agree wit everyone else, I try to plan my vegas trip ahead of time and start saving. Putting some money away away and cutting back on things. See the big picture (vegas) and everything else comes second. I can't wait to go again and I just went last month!

I really fought the demons last night and today to go out. Had a lot of St pats stuff going on this afternoon. I flat out ignored all texts LOL Once i have vegas booked I delegate all energy to that. I woulda spent a bare minimum 100 today and probly more like upper 100s(Chicago has Vegas prices)

Plus once i start drinking its full gear. i have one speed one gear GO. i woulda gone out til 5am and spent 250 today. My girlfriend is smitten as im just chilling with her. There is NOTHING that compares to vegas.

Save every penny u can to go. I also have umpiring coming up. i ump as many games a week as a can for extra money plus my other income. I ump at least 3 games on a sat and sunday and a few during week. memorial day weeknd i have umped on that sat sun and mon literally from 9am to 10pm. VVVEEEGGGASSS!!!!

If you just go into the club and don't have a table, you're looking at $30 or more for cover. Then you're looking at $15-18 per drink after tip. If you're just an average guy and you have 4-5 drinks at a club, you just spent $100.

Why not get 3-4 guys together and buy a bottle? When you do that, you're looking at $150-200 per man and you have a place to sit and relax. All of these Vegas clubs get packed pretty easily, so it's nice to have a "home base" with a table.

This is so true, i have been telling tourist this since 2008:

                            4 guys = 30 each for cover = 120
                            10 drinks total = 2.5 drinks per person @18 per drink = 180

Thats 300 with no table, no host, waiting in line, possible tip to get in and no where to go when you get inside.

Guys please don't forget your booking host is more than just a reservation placer, he should be working for you the entire time you in the club, facilitating everything from the cocktail servers to the girls at the table. Take advantage of your hosts when you book table, and dont forget they are all in the service industry and work for gratuities, so take care of those who take care of you.

Personally I look for the cheapest food, a great place with quality food for a good price is the Venetian mall lvl food court or the palms food court near the movies.
