Tipping those guys who talk to you on the street...?

I'm not talking about those people who hand you passes and then ask for tips BTW. Every time me and my girlfriends have walked around on the strip we are usually approached like 3 or 4 time (especially center strip) by men who ask us if we want to be on guest list at various clubs. Sometimes they even offer us deals like open bars or free dinners etc etc. Then they ask for one of our numbers so that they can contact us. We actually have not taken advantage of this really at all. The only time we ever did show up we had to wait in line at JET FOR LIKE EVVVVERRR (I remember him telling us he was new). My question though is are you suppose to tip these people if you do go to the club and they help you skip the line? I thought I remember at least of few of them reiterating that they don't work for tips and they just want girls to come to their clubs... Now that I am on this website though I see people talking about tipping hosts so now I am confused are you suppose to tip them and how much? I am a waitress so I am not cheap about tipping when I know what to do! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

If someone doesn't work directly for a club, at the clubs location I don't bother with them much less tip them. A club that has people hustling for names on the blvd to fill their guest list might not be one you really need to be on a list to get into anyways.

Well they were always the really popular ones such as JET, Pure, The Bank, Vanity, All the Palms ones... They said that they do work directly for the club (i think). Idk maybe it is because I have gone during the slower season... Mid March, Thanksgiving... Idk also my friends and I are pretty attractive girls IMO my girls being more so than me, so maybe that has something to do with it..?

don't tip them when you meet them early in the day. Only tip them if you see them at the actual club and were helpful there (directing you where to go to get in immediately or actually walking you in themselves).

Thanks! I was starting to feel like an ass hole for not tipping people! But just a tip to any girls who these guys approach you really can get some good stuff from them and get on really good lists.
But back to the original question if they do hook it up how much is standard to tip?

No worries, a lot of girls don't tip so don't think anything of it. I like to suggest $5-10 per girl to guys paying for the girls in their party but really anything from a girl will make them more than happy.
