  • Realistic Memorial Day Weekend Budget?

I have a group going to Vegas May 28-May 30. We are looking to get table service in one of the better clubs (no xs, no tao) for ~12 guys and looking to realistically keep the tab under $3k. Most times I've been to vegas they have a bottle to every 3 or 4 guy minimum (so im thinking 3 or 4 bottles in this case).

I do realize prices will jump some but from previous attendees or even some of the nightlife reps on here - I want to set my expectations appropriately. I have seen the N9ne all access passes and will consider those as well but not much beats a good table with your friends.

    Any thoughts?

I'm not an expert, but based on the prices I've gotten for 3 guys that weekend, there's no way you are going to get table service anywhere that weekend for 12 guys for under $3,000. Prices spike A LOT that weekend.

Agreed. I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but $3k total isn't going to get a group of 12 guys very far on Memorial Day weekend.

I was at Tryst on Memorial day last year on Sat night with a group of 11.

        4 Bottles of Grey Goose - $595/each

With water and Red Bull, the bill ran up to $2700 without tip and does not include my agreed handshake with Ryan.

For that weekend, it seems everyone adds $100 to the bottle prices.

Thanks for the input. Based on the responses - I actually think $3k is fairly plausible (I was basing on the cost of bottles alone, not including tax/tip necessarily). $595 a bottle is a bit pricier than i would have expected from Tryst but all in all not 'horrible' compared to previous trips.

@durden13 - where did you get sat with a group that big?

Also - you don't have to post the actual amount but curious what an expected 'handshake' might go for that weekend?

          Thanks again for your help

JTL - It's no big deal, I think I posted my actual bill on one of the threads and I have a fairly detailed trip/experience report here:

            http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthread.php?t=4091

My handshake with Ryan Perrings that weekend was $500. Tryst was an emergency replacement since I got bounced from XS for Sat.

We got an alcove table inside Tryst. It was on the right hand side (walking in, looking straight into the waterfall) right in front of the stripper pole. Outstanding seating. At least 9 could squeeze in there comfortably with one or two sitting in front.

Actually if you go to Tryst's website and click on Visit then the VIP area, you pretty much have our seat. Do a 360 and you'll see the area.

I think 3K is doable at some places. I'd try MikeyT here at Surrender or Donnie.Lavo here for Lavo. They are extremely helpful.

For Tryst, try Ryan Perrings (ryan's mostly at XS though) or Jared Garcia.
