solo trip ....memorial day weekend

good day gang,

long time lurker, first time poster. i will be taking a solo trip to vegas (my boys backed out), during memorial day weekend. this is my first solo trip to vegas. however i have been to vegas atleast 6 times before.

.... i will be staying at either mandalay bay or thehotel. my questions to the forum are what are your recommendations for the best lounges and clubs for a nice cougar hunt (i am late 30's). i am not necessarily a fan of mega clubs, but do like a nice place to dance.

i dont mind getting a table but dont want to sit there as the solo guy. looks kinda ridiculous. of course drais is on the agenda, its the only club i go to every trip to vegas, but are there any other after hours spots ?

is contacting a host for a party of one a good idea on mdw ? and are the forums here the best place to potentially meet up with a group to possibly get a table (preferably ladies).

hey its my first solo trip and all options are open, so after rolling, enjoying some kush, a little gambling, and people watching, can the forum recommend anything else to make this solo trip the best trip to vegas yet ? any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

I'm going to vegas for MDW with 2 other late 30's friends. I'm the married wingman, but they'll share your interest in cougs.

We're probably gonna stay at the venetian or wynn and hopefully party at surrender,ebc,tryst,tao beach. They definitely want to hang with a more mature upscale crowd.

I just want to see some killer house/electro dj's.

If the minimums are as high as I think they are, we could use some more people to go in on a table, daybed, etc.

One of my friends who is coming got roofied and robbed at drai's, so it may be hard to convince him to go there. I think vanity has afterhours after tiesto shows, so that's an option.

I'll be headed out there for MDW, staying at the MGM SIgnature, so I'll probably be spending majority of my time at the MGM Pool. Meeting up with friends in Vegas but I have the room to myself so I'm goinna party it up!!! Let's get something goin!!!!

What's up nydharma,

We've booked rooms at palms place for our group of now 5. One of the guys is from the UK and knows one of the palms DJ's Zen Freeman. He will be spining at perfecto at rain that saturday. We'll watch UFC before that, but friday night, sat pool, and all sunday are up in the air.

I would like to go to EBC on sunday, but I haven't been able to figure out how much it will cost yet.

i will be staying at thehotel. rain sounds like it will be a good time. i have been to most of the big clubs in vegas so i am pretty open as far as itenerary. the only place i definitely will be going is drais (unless someone lnows of a better after hours). i will probably be rolling and i am a go with the flow type of guy. so as long as a few cougars are in the house i am in. i am a big mma fan so the ufc fight is right up my alley. i have only been to rehab so i would like to definitely see what other pool party scenes are like. keep me posted

I know palms isn't really the cougar spot but you never know.

My buddy and I are in the same situation as you. Mid 30's, looking to meet some people to hang out with (preferably ladies). We're coming in on the 25th for the UFC and I am trying to get some plans set. I am hoping to party it up pretty good and I hope my buddy can keep up. We are going to The House of Blues friday night and have the fight events going friday and saturday but I want to hit up Drais at least once and I am looking at getting the Hosted bar @ Rain and All Access VIP wristband for Playboy, Moon and Ghostbar + daytime pool party for the sunday. I'd like to get a chance to see DeadMau5, too, if I can. I thought about getting some bottle service at a few clubs but with only 2 guys it doesn't make sense.

We're staying at MGM Grand and I will probably be at the pool most mornings soaking up the sun and the view. Maybe we can meet up with ocralph714.
