Hey guys, i was wondering where the decent afterhours spots are throughout the week. I know Dreis (and the strip clubs) have been the go-to places, but have any others opened. Would be nice to keep the party going once the clubs thin out....

Any help is appreciated....

I heard that people go to Artisan... haven't been personally so I can't tell you how it is... but its something to look into

Here is the thing on that. Its apparently mainly locals. I personally am a Drais guy. Im not saying Artisan doesnt seem solid. Its just when I am in Vegas Id prefer to meet others who are in town for a short time looking to make some bad decisions.

I have had situations in past where I hooked up with a local girl early in night and got cockblocked later by her guy friends. Less likely to happen with tourists not locals ya know.

Artisan is pretty good, somewhat new afterhours spot. I was there last summer, and yes it is about 75% locals. Its not by the Hard Rock, its by Treasures Gentlemens club off Desert Inn, a ways off the strip. But no cover charge, and pretty sick house music. Drais which was king of the afterhours for years in Vegas, in my opinion, has drastically gone downhill. Drais about 8 years ago was ridiculous and still had and underground feel, but i say its become too mainstream.

Drais seems to go through spurts. The place that i loved was Empire ballroom. oh man that place was awesome. I had friends in Vegas a few weeks ago and they said Drais was phenomenal fri but not saturday. who knows. when im there next im definitely gonna go there on a fri. sat i might mix it up and try Artisan who knows.
