Per Thomas Gorman, there are no more lounge chairs.

I'm really sad about this! Honey and I had a blast last time we went to Wet and reserved the loungers, great location and doable minimum for just 2 people. $1000 daybeds is a little too much for just the 2 of us

You can get up to 8 - 10 people. So technically its about the same, just gotta get a larger party together. Wet is always doing a special DJ every Saturday this year, along with FMIF every Sunday. Theres no "regular" weekends anymore.

Doesn't look like it from what I can see in the WR photo galleries. No water loungers, no regular loungers. :-( No more fun for small groups.

It is my understanding there is still a small amount of loungers but not as many as last year, I got a F&B quote of $150 pp for them. Also has them listed in AMG promo info http://www.angelpromo.com/wet2011/ good news for those in smaller groups.

Who is your contact that gave you the quote? I bet a lot of members who are being told there aren't any lounges anymore would be interested...

On a side note, that promo is exactly the same as the 2010 one. A lot has changed in 2011. Not sure why they didn't revise it. I think the pics in that link are actually even older than 2010, b/c it shows lounge chairs at the upper pool, and those were all daybeds last summer. When we were just there in May, I didn't see any lounge chairs at all. The upper pool had daybeds on both sides, and the big lower pool had the couches on both sides.

Oddly enough, the WR website still mentions lounge chairs, but when you check the photo galleries, there aren't any to be seen. Wish we could get to the bottom of this...

I think you are referring to the lounge chairs in the water? I dont think they were even there the last time I went. Check with Thomas to reconfirm, but I m pretty sure the smallest booking he does is a daybed at Wet that fits 7-8.

Does anyone know how much lounge chairs cost at Wet Republic??? Also, do hotel guests of the MGM get free admission or reduced admission??

Hotel Guests receive complimentary admission on Thursdays and Mondays before 1pm. On Friday, hotel guests receive complimentary admission before 12 noon. We're working with Tom for Saturday and Sunday.

Would consider doing a day bed on Friday if we could share it with someone, ...just my son and me.
