Vegas nightlife/bar and restaurant "hidden gems"

I know we all want whats hot and in the know but what about the undiscovered hidden gems that are always rewarding and fun to share?

This is kind of dated but back in 06 I came accross a tapas bar off the strip called Firefly. Even my local buddy did not know of it but enjoyed it and couldn't wait to surprise his GF

Do you know of any? What about the Seldom mentioned:

Diablos
Rock house
Hawaiian tropic zone
Toby kieths bar

best pizza in vegas Grimaldis....it originated under the brooklyn bridge in brooklyn and now opened up in vegas on eastern pkwy not far from the airport i think its considered henderson.......not quites as good as the original BUT for out there its awesome!!

It's not really a hidden gem, but going between Nine Fine Irishmen and the Times Square Bar has always been a solid good time for a night I just want to roll out in a t-shirt with jeans and chucks.

Oh, and Nine Fine is rad too because they let military in for free.

I love peppermills...they have a firepit next to the bar and comfy seating. There's a bar area and the restaurant area. Both places serve food. I went in 07 with SO, it's very romantic. But, I went back last july with my sisters and we had a blast...it's a great place to go late. We sat by the firepit and we were annoying the lovers there b/c we were laughing and drinking it up while they were cuddling. One of my sisters was so embarrassed, she's a mom, so she's used to dealing with kids! It's near riveria, you usually have to cab it to the Riv and walk across and vice versa b/c cabs are hard to get there. It was named "best makeout lounge" in some paper awhile back. Def a great place to go!

I've actually got one night planned around dinner at nine fine. Everything I've read says it's suprisingly great.

- can't remember the names of the bars on Fremont Street experience
- a Thai/Asian joint selling a MASSIVE portion of pad thai near the Stratosphere that's open late
- Kaizen Sushi, across from the Hard Rock and other locations
- Chow King and Jollibee at the Seafood Market on Maryland
- In-N-Out
- Sonic
- the coffee at Hotel Paris
- any steak and egg special

and yes - the triple 7 special at HRH...

lol.. I was waiting for someone to say that.. ewww.. no, its totally legit.. I was with my bf one time years ago in a cab and my bf asked the cabbie if he knew of a good RMT spot without going to the overpriced hotels and the guy actually said "yes, go to this place.. they even give happy endings!"

Usually the hotel spa's aren't bad, after a bad break up I hit Vegas with some friends and said F it I want a massage. So I got one of those hot rocks massages and the mirage spa then chilled next to a small waterfall with cold cucumber slices on my eyes hahaha
